About me

Hi, I’m Alexandra (Alex) Boucher, a graphic designer and illustrator with a background in fashion design. I’ve been creating garments for over 15 years, both personally and professionally, where I developed a strong eye for detail and craftsmanship. My journey also includes working as a fabricator in the Canadian Armed Forces, where I expanded my skill set through projects like vehicle upholstery and metalwork. These hands-on experiences pushed my creativity and enhanced my problem-solving abilities. Now, as a graphic designer, I bring this unique blend of skills to design, focusing on creating impactful, visually engaging work.

I’ve always been drawn to the bold and eclectic energy of 1960s and 70s pop culture. You’ll see hints of these influences in my work, adding a retro flair to many of my designs. That said, I’m not limited to one style. I enjoy working with a variety of aesthetics and tailoring each project to suit the client’s vision, creating designs that feel personal and impactful.

Feel free to explore my portfolio to see how my experiences and inspirations come together to create unique, thoughtful designs. If you’d like to work together, don’t hesitate to get in touch—I’d love to hear from you!
